In January 2008 the ‘Mountain Hardwear Edge of Reality’ 50 hour adventure race was held. This event was the pinnacle of adventure racing, taking teams to their limit over a 50 hour non-stop expedition course. Beachcombers Holiday Park at Tuross Lake on the NSW South Coast provided the magical base. With 7m cliff jumps and swimming through channels along the coastline at Mullimburra Point, running along sandy beaches, epic treks through the old growth forest, paddling down shallow flowing rivers and hours of fun on the mountain bike trails – this event was the best yet.
